Ready for any daily need or emergency, the new Photon Freedom Micro personal flashlight features simple, intuitive single-button operation to provide quick, easy access to the features you use most, with additional mode settings available only when you need them. "Smart circuit" technology gives you the light you need, when you need it.

Simple, Intuitive operation:

All it takes is a simple squeeze of the button to give you instant full power illumination at any time. To dim the light once it is turned on, simply press and hold the button to dim the light to the desired level.
Pressing and holding the button when the light is already off will turn it on at the lowest level and allow you to gradually increase the brightness to give you just the amount of light you need to accomplish your task without disturbing your night vision or disrupting those around you.
When needed, the four safety strobe functions (fast, medium, slow, & SOS) can be accessed by continuing to hold the button down. Once the flashlight has dimmed or brightened fully, it will proceed to cycle through the various strobe functions. Simply release the button when you reach the desired beacon mode.
An additional "momentary/signaling" mode can be accessed by tapping the button several times in rapid succession. When in the signaling mode, the Freedom Micro LED flashlight will behave like the squeeze-only Photon I, with the light turning on only while the button is pressed and off when it is released. To exit the signaling mode and return the light to normal operation, simply press and hold the button for several seconds until the flashlight turns off.

Well this is my first LRI product that I've bought. I've got a few of these little microlights from various other manufacturers, but this little gem beats them all. I got the one with the yellow led, as I've always wanted one and it just looks good. The brightness control is an ingenious feature as are the multi-strobe functions, in particular the SOS mode. I just love it and I'll be buying more for sure. It's certainly an impressive testament to the product if the millatary and NASA use them! Absolutely brilliant!

I purchased the Photon Freedom Micro over 3 years ago when the website looked much different and the little light is still working great and bright today. Of course Ive gone through a few batteries but mostly that was during the excitement of it for the first couple months. The last battery has been in for many months and still holding strong. The accessories are nice and the spring loaded clip is great. I have the black casing with aqua blue LED. It is a little more than most keychain lights at stores but well worth it. I dont see why this won't last me many more years to come. Dont regret it.

Great light, it has helped me out countless times. The new ones are certainly even brigther (I already had the previous "2x brighter") but have a quite noticeable purple/blue tint when shining on white surfaces close by. This doesn't matter to me at all, but maybe someone cares about this.

Had a lot ok keychain flashlights, but this one get the better of all !! One will be in my survival kit and one with me for long long time ! And shipment, with Fedex, takes only 3 days fron USA to Italy.

Got myself a Red body (white LED) Freedom Micro. I had one unbranded blue LED keychain, which I thought was really bright for a LED. Until I got this Freedom light! Also the extra functions (signal/morse,blink,SOS) are cool (and easy to control even with just 1 button). Last but not least: it looks pretty, with the (red) design ;-) Shipment (International Priority Mail) took only 7 days to the Netherlands.
