Proton Pro With One White and One Red LED October 10, 2008 Reviewer: Bill Kincaid from Mentor, OH United States   Vast improvement over older model.  Much  brighter yet with a lot of spill.  Seems rugged and is small enough for a pocket, small back pack.  Fairly bright.  Bright enough to be considered a serious backup or secondary light in a emergency situation.   This light could  be  considered a main light for almost any use with the latest Cree Q5 Emitter.  When Proton comes out with the next version of this light with  a 120 or greater Lumen output there will be no need for any other light other  than  to carry a backup.
